• Fender Stratocaster Texas Special Custom Shop pickups: A set renowned for its punch, installed as standard on the Strat Artist Signature Stevie Ray Vaughan, on certain Tex Mex Artist signatures such as the "Jimmy Vaughan". These very..."spicy" pickups, are factory produced at the Fender® Custom Shop, they deliver slam and power output in all 5 Strat® combinations;
• The output level is high, the advantages of vintage (Alnico V type magnets, worked and wound by hand) with this warm sound so particular of the Texan Blues democratized by Stevie Ray and his 65 Deluxe amp. Overwound thread, very fine copper wire, fiber spool, wax bath finish, waxed cotton sheath output wiring;
• The sound range is incredible, the highs sharp and powerful, the lows round and deep, the mid-highs sharp but clear and crisp. The neck pickup offers the full range of "bluesy" sounds expected of a Strat in both clean and overdriven mode, and the bridge pickup is screaming with excellent "sustain" at high volume.
